Hey all! I haven't posted here in ages as I've been a bit busy, but I'm at a point now that I may end up getting my GVR-4 fixed up & possibly modded. Anyway, I'm just wondering if there are any good DSM friendly shops in the MD area. Specifically I'm up in the Frederick/Hagerstown area and don't really want haul it too far away if possible. Thanks in advance... :)

theres a place down on baltimore street? (i cant remember...whatever 40 W turns into in downtown) in hagerstown called applied force performace. the guy there has been working on and modding dsms since he got his license when he was 16. pretty cool guy, they do a lot of work on many different vehicles there, but he seems to know his stuff when it comes to DSMs. He has done numerous 6-bolt swaps, exhaust, etc.

My boy Mike does most of my work he works at Russel Toyota, but he and a friend of his have their own shop off of DOrsey road by BWI, HRS Auto Repair, he has me in and out quick, does custom jobbies (whether it be suspension/awd conversions, turbos, etc.) , he used to do work for GW and knows alot of the guys at Extreme, Full shop can do just bout anything, they took care of alot of my motor work and junk. Great prices too. Mike used to own a dsm and junk so hes done swaps and junk. (443).864.7011

If you don't mind some driving. most of MD is within driving distance of Extreme Motorsports, SBR, and Stemar.

Take my advice: despite what one or two people might say, avoid autoeurotec like the plague.

The only problem i have with extreme is that they are pricey :-/ though it could be worse you could always go to HP Racing

oh man dont even metinshion HP rice racing. I hate that place with a passion. I dont know how they rip people off that bad and dont have any regrets. Its insane how much they rip people off. I went there once just to look around and they wanted 100 bux for thier obx cone filter LOL! LOL! LOL! Then i went to mid atlantic 4x4 on rt2 and saw the same filter for 25 bux LOL what a rip. but i love hp though cuz i hate honda and they rip them off LOL. Thats how they are all still slow in glen burnie LOL. its redicolous on how much they charge on stuff there.

Do they have a all wheel dyno and can tune?? Thats what I need!

Applied Force performance is a great shop in Hagerstown MD. That is currently where my talon is at while im in Iraq. They are all really nice and knowledgeable people and they have turned out some amazing dsm's. If you call them ask for Joe Miller and say Kurt Pittman told you about it and the should hook you up. There addy is http://www.appliedforce.com/ and there phone # is 1-301-733-0744. They have alot of experiance tuning dsm's, supra's, and Rx7's. They dont have an in house dyno but they do have access to one locally to tune on. Im not sure if its all wheel or not.
