My name is Devils, my friends call me Devs. I just wanted to jump in and make an introduction. At first when I came to this site I knew you chumps had nothing on my Civette. But I'm actually impressed, I used to think that AWD was a horrible rash you got on your buttcheeks from sitting on a public toilet.

you can still call me Devs, I'm new to this import thing. I actually own a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. I used to own a 2006 GTO, Magnacharged,@ 7 PSI. Also in my fleet is my 1966 Galaxie. 33,000 Original Miles 428 Big block Matching # car.

Since I got into cars I have always wanted to build an AWD 4 Cylinder car. So here I am, in the market for a 1G DSM 4G63, 5 Speed. Anyways Pics of my "fleet" below

Welcome to the board. Now just get on craigslist, dump off the dead weight in those pics and buy a DSM J/K anyway, welcome to the site...are you looking into getting a DSM or have one already? Love the civette...... We did a chevette with a 305 in it once when i was younger and we always told people we had the baddest 305 equipped vette in the area, it was great for a laugh to pull up in it...we had the emblems torn to where they only said "vette" it was classic.

The saddest part of the first pic is that looks like there's an SVO mustang or a merkur xr4ti hidden in that blob of wood and fiberglass..what a waste of a great car if so

well... I need to find a 1G someone is willing to let go for around 2k. but it has to be in good shape.

I plan on a complete strip down and clean up. but I want to get a baseline so I really want one that runs.

I'm not going to dump a lot of money into the stock block or transmission. I actually would rather pull it. put a new longblock + Transmission that can handle some good amount of power. that way I can keep a block around "just in case" I need it.

My goals for the car are not to extreme (I hope). I'm looking for around 500 AWHP out of the car total. all the while keeping it somewhat streetable.
