i am somewhat new to dsm's and i saw something i wanted feedback on. i saw a guy with a 2g, he put on aluminum piping and a maft, only the maft was after the bov on the piping and he had a vpc style intake pipe. is that a good or bad idea? i figured it would be good because then you would get a more accurate mearsure of how much air is going into the motor reguardless of leaks or anything. any help would be appreciated.

Ive done my research on th GM MAFT setup and from what ive gathered its a good setup to use and placing the sensor after the bov will give u a better reading as uve already figured out.Ive purchased it for my car but havent completed assembling the car yet so i havent actually used it yet. There are quite a few posts on this subject, u should be able to find out anything u wanna know about the setup by doing a search on here under GM MAFT. Good luck w/ ur car and happy dsming!! :talon: :thumb:
