Made it on the homepage of BREAK.com WOOOHOO!!

Yesterday, I was making a video on my computer at home. I needed some audio of a car crashing, so I did a few google searches and fell upon a public archive owned by the state patrol highway. I rumaged the the videos and found some GREAT videos. So I editted one and submitted it on BREAk! in hopes it would make the BREAk! hompage. To make it, either they have to choose it through a serious of algorithims (don't ask me how that works) OR you have to get 25,000 views in 1 week. The video has been loaded for less then 9 hours and already has over 79,000 views, so I made the homepage. Also, BREAK pays $400 for movies that land the homepage.

I made it on Break's homepage last year. It's kind of a joke IMO.

It was an authentic video of me and a buddy, that we recorded in my garage at my house. It made it on the front page and Break never paid us for it. They also never responded to the numerous e-mails I sent them.

Since our submission, my video has been resubmitted by other people claiming it as their own video and they also made it to the front page with it as well.

Well, all we need is a 3rd person and then we can file for a class action law suit and get additional punitive damages.

I've since mastered the soup spoon of cinnamon. There's a trick to it, and there are many things "not to do" when eating this much cinnamon. It's cool - my buddys will come over, have a few beers, and I'll challenge them to it. Only one other person other than me has ever got it down at my house. I have many, many videos of friends trying and failing.

Don't bother I messaged the guy with the video of the 8 yr old Guitar Hero 2 expert. They said they are gonna contact him and discuss money, but just left him hanging. I'll give it a little bit and see if we want he want's to jump in on a law suit.

Seriously, this is total bull shit. They lure video makers in by promising $400-$2000. They make hundreds of thounsands, if not MILLIONS of dollars from sponsors, advertisments, etc. Because they have some of the BEST videos out there, thats only because people put them on there expecting to get $400, if they make the home page. Then we you make the home page they drop you like a bad habit.

I mean, the SOLE reason I editted and posted that movie was because I thought if I made it on the home page, I will get $400.

They claim they send the money to your paypal account for any original that makes it to the homepage.


When you upload material to their site, it becomes their preperty, to in a sense, without payment, it's theft.

Yup, straight from my nose.

What makes it difficult is that you think you can just swallow it, or you open your mouth to take a breathe. Big mistake. As soon as you breath or swallow any of it, it instantly coats your throat, cause a rough pain in your throat. Then you exhale that breathe and it enters your sinuses. And that's the worst feeling about it. So, then you begin to cough profusely - your nose is burning like crazy, and your throat feeling like you just swallowed a pound of sand. Luckily I had that beer handy, or I would have been running for the garden hose.


The trick is to keep your mouth closed, and breath through your nose. Then slowly develop saliva and work it around in the cinnamon. After about two minutes, it turn into one large lump of cinnamon and then you swallow it.

I'm down. I was really looking forward to my few hundred bucks. They left me very disappointed, and I haven't visited the site much since.
