Where you going to be? Why arent you going to be there?

WOW!!! EvoFest 08 was wack, always the high Evo Love. Pretty much crap, I did how ever talk to the person in Charge of M.O.D. and told her i was very very Disappointed with how nothing but Evo's get all the Love. How we all feel like it should just be call EvoFest every year, i told her to check local forums about this. No one is happy about how they get treated there. Alot of us are Hard Core Mitsubishi enthusiast having owned Multi Mitsu's. Not to say we are any better then Evo owners. But We shouldn't be treated like we are any Worse. We should be treated Equally. Equal amounts of spots for expected cars. I told her i totally understand that Evo's are new and they are trying to reach that Market. But Evo 8&9 are no longer new. I totally would understand if they pushed for more Evo X's. She said she totally understood where we where all coming from, and if it wasn't for alot of us. Mitsu wouldn't be around. She said it's great that somebody Finally gave them back some Feed back on how to improve because without any feedback, things really won't change, and it's only gonna get bigger and bigger. I talked to her for a good 10mins. Very Nice lady. Totally agreed the 2g is one of the better car's Mitsu had made. She said at there meeting she will totally bring all this up. Hopefully they listen.

I'm just glad i finished my car this morning in time to bring it. I think I would have won the award for dirtiest DSM. ROFL

Not to mention first DSM to drop a slave cylinder rod in the parking lot with 1/2 of RRE laughing at you!!! LOL :thumb:

Yeah, I agree w/ cph. Wayyy too much love for the EVO's. Every prize they gave away was for a EVO. The only thing I could of used was the friggn shift knob. Yeah, they are probably the vast majority at the event but what about the cars that gave Mitsubitshi the sports car image in the USDM. It was the 1g and 2g eclipse, galant vr4s, starions, 3KGT's....not the EVO. Before the EVO came to the U.S. market, everyone thought Mitsu just straight lost its mind when it changed the 2g Eclipse image to some overweight n/a car w/ overkill styling. Then when the EVO came into the USDM scene in 2003, it gave Mitsu some of its sporty image back....and in the process, forgetting the other models in previous years. Hopefully they start giving more credit towards DSMs and older models to tell all those EVO kids where their wonderful 4G63 came from.

Good thing I never made it!! I know how Cali meets end up; cocky'ness from either side of Mitsu-model's
