Just bought that crap about last year's early fall.. that car is sittin' about 3 years ago on the street, I was think it will be a good, cheap daily driver, just needs some TLC.
Well.. NOT! But i wanna save it from the salvage yard.. Okey. struts are crap, brakes are totally shitty, body looks like a crap with some repaired spots.
Well i was bought it, and tear it apart immediately.. find so many rusted holes on the body.. the seller says: "its a good car, it's a repaired body.." my ass.. rear fenders, and the sills are repaired, right.. but apart from these nothing.. needs a lot of welding, but, i was never use a welder before this..

continue soon...

at the weekend i'll continue to the outer side of that.. inside the wheel arch..

I have a question for everybody who knows the answer. What about the cooling lines in the 3G CSM-s? compatibles with any other related cars? I think the 1G DSMs silicone cooling lines will be fine, it's right, or wrong?

Okey. do the engine bay's outer side/wheel arch.

Before..

-In May i try starting the engine..
...just trying.. doesn't start.. the fuel rail is dry.. ooohh fuel pump dead.. tank comes off.. aaaah, i see a lil' rusted hole on the top of the tank..
i knocked sometimes the pump with a hammer, and started..
Okey. somebody wanna give me a junked tank, 1 week later after a 200 miles trip i got a fuel tank, a crackless dashboard, and a spare rear bumper..
-put the fuel pump in the "new gas tank".. before i assembled under the car, i checked the pump.. 12volts on.. totally silence.. pump is dead.. ok, a have an old spare pump.. put in.. check.. works.. okey..
-Tank is assembled on the car.. try again to start.. dummdummdummm ONE cylinder works... WHAAT?
-in fuel rail got the fuel.. but he reverse line is dry. okey. got fuel pressure, but f***in low!!
-Fuel tank down... aaaah... hole on the "new" tank on it.. nice..
-Buying a new fuel pump, and a filter.. (in the other corner of the city has a store where i got immediately a new pump..)
-"Glued" the new tank..
-New pump put in the tank, and assembled back to the car..
-Start again.. brrrr 3 cylinders.... after a little lifter job the rebulided engine is started and works fine...
-A week after i looted from somebody a Spectra Premium tank "brand new in box" condition.. for $50!! :D :D :D

-two weeks ago got a "new" windscreen and a set of new gas shocks.. and the machinery is theoretically is done..

-Paintjob work is started now.... :D

September's news:
I1m just repaired the exhaust..
A1014793.jpg

Putting some testing miles on the backroads of the neighborhood..
Ohh. then:
We passed the inspection, the ride is legally driveable on the roads now..

Took a picture included the almost all of the shitty-rotten parts what a dropped out from that lil' car. :D

A1014848 copy.jpg

Went some little road trips.. & using as a daily.. only replaced a starter.. the car works almost fine. had some minor anomalies.. but absolutely useable.

A1014932 copy.jpg

1000kilometers after the rebuild..
Only a starter, and a battery dies under the short break-in period..

Almost everything else is works fine..
Some anomalies is waiting for repair (an outer CV joint, may a noise from a front trail arm busing).. but i like that lil car for daily.. :)

Long time no posting here...
The reason: I built a boring car. In the last half year only collecting miles, and no new problem.. only the remained anomalies.. (some idle problems, and the noisy halfshaft/suspension bushing..)
Find a rustless hood.. Nothing more.. :D :D

Some new pics:
