Hey guys, I just got done with my rebuild and I'm getting very little vacuum like -2 to -4hg I know it should be lower. I have checked mechanical timing it's perfect, boost leak tested to 40psi no leaks. Idle is set at 950rpm. Base timing is *5 degrees, base idle and fuel pressure are all set. I can't get my profile to update so here is the quick recap of what I'm running.
BC 280 cams
Manley 10:5:1 Pistons
Fidenza timing gears
Autometer mechanical gauge off its own tap into the intake
Magnus race intake mani
The car runs great and builds boost fine but at idle the vacuum is very low. The car has 200 miles on the rebuild so far. The only things I can think of is
my exhaust cam needs adjusted and I'm getting to much overlap.
Or my gauge is malfunctioning..
Any help would be great.
