low mileage....somewhat new car....true?

im lookin to get a 97-99 gsx...in about a month....im just lookin around on line and i see a few here and there...usually with over 100k miles which isnt very appealing. Then i see a couple including this one which i am looking at with 45k miles. Are these low mileage cars trustowrthy? would they have problems or what not. Let me know how u guys feel and if there is anything else i should look out for when i buy a 2g gsx. thanks.

Great mileage. That hood gap looks big, run a Carfax on it. If it's not had its belts done, I'd say it's time despite the mileage. Is that thing in Frisco? That could mean higher-than-usual clutch and brake wear.
I gave $7K for mine last August, with 66K on it. There's not a lot of them left that haven't been dicked with, mine still had its 2G BOV.
From that picture, it looks clean.... the seller might go to $8K, and that's not very much for a car, and especially not for what all these cars are.

And crankwalk is _greatly_ over-talked.
