I just logged my car after fixing a leak I found (torn pcv hose going to the intake manifold). I calculated my gm/rev and it comes out to .23-.25gm/rev at idle. I should be getting .28gm/rev, but am not. It was reading about .20gm/rev or less before I fixed the leaking pcv hose, so it did go up and it does idle better without the additional airflow adjustment I had in prior logs. But I still am at a loss for the rest of the leak... I was wondering what could leak from the throttle body to the magnus intake manifold? There were 4 fittings on the back of the manifold, and I used rtv sealant on the fittings and am sure those are sealed fine. I did use rtv sealant between the intake manifold and the head which might be questionable but seems like it should work? I did not seal the 2 studs that stick out of the intake manifold for the throttle body to slip on to, or the 2 bolts that hold the throttle body in place with the studs and nuts, do you think that this will cause a leak? I used rtv sealant between the throttle body and intake manifold, and between the throttle body and uicp elbow, that should seal those I would think as well. What do you guys think? Maybe the throttle body is leaking between the 2 halves or at the idle air control valve? If you guys can take a look at the log and tell me what you think I would appreciate it. Thanks
EDIT*: Can any of this be due to a small exhaust leak at all, or might that have any play on this at all or the low gm/rev readings? Thanks again
