Lost Fluid, Can i revive my trans?

My drain plug somehow fell out and is no where to be found, i dont know if it was lose from when i did my rebuild or if something ### happened or what, but its gone and my fluid went with it. The main problem is that my frontires locked up, fwd, and i cant move my car, luckily it happened a house down from my house and i put th efront on a beast jack and got it home, does anyone know y it locked up other then the fluid, or lack of, i know its cus of that but whats the exact problem and can it possibly be revived or should i start lookin for a new trans, it locked up at 15 mph and hopped to a stop, cant be good, and the rest of my car is great, i just put urethane mounts in and new internals myself i can easily fix this but i just want to be sure what im doing, thanks again guys for all your knowhow

hmm im not sure about it working or not but, I lost all the fluid in my transmission one time and reverse stopped working. I added fluid and like 3 days later it just started working again. it doesnt sound too good that it locked up on you. I guess maybe you could try adding fluid and just see if you could eventually run through the gears or something. good luck.

Thanks Chris, today i got it to unlock, but i still have no fluid in it cus im waiting on the drain plug to get in at my mitsu dealer, monday its comin there, so then i will see. i started it on a jack, then put it in gear and they were both spinin so, i think im ok, but it was loud, but then it was dry as a bone in there so its expected to not work to well, i left it in the street tho cus i cant push it up my drive way, and i dont want to put any stress on it now, so ill wait till monday, then i will see and if its broken, and if so im comitting suicide cus i have spent so much time on this dam car, not really, but i have done so much and i dont have the money for a new trans. any ideas or hints, pls tell me, thanks guys
