Well you have to get it going again. Right now I'm the only DSM around that actually drives his car around and goes to the track.

It's done for this season. I still drive it around town every now and then, but I am still having starting / idling issues with it, along with the transmission problem. My priority right now is:

1. get moved into my new house (with a double car garage housing two DSM's) - Hint, one isnt mine.
2. get my talon idling and starting reliably again.
3. Remove turbo and manifold for ceramic coating, and remove intake manifold and throttle body to find boost leak.
4. Source and replace transmission and driveshaft.

Gonna try and get that done over winter, but whatever happens happens.

Well I hope you'll be able to figure it all out over the winter. And as far as the tranny, talk to Brandon in S'Toon, he's always got lots of used transmissions; unless you want to get a built tranny.

On Sunday, I ran a 13.8@101, I get one more chance this Sunday to better it. That was done on a crappy tune and it was 90+*F outside.

Well, finally got my credit card charge back after getting frauded by DGR suspension... I lost $50 in the process though due to currency conversions which is kind of a piss off... All in all, at least im not out $1200.

Same here. I filed a dispute with my credit card and got back all of mine (haven't looked if I lost any in the currency conversion) in like three days no questions asked.

Are you still going to try and get a kit through this Mark guy?

Nope, I chanced it once, not doing it again. This money is going to studded winter tires for the winter talon instead.

hey I finally got another dsm (92 eclipse gs) just wondering what the fuel mileage is for the non turbo'd 2.0's? (for the life of me I cant remember)I'm from stoon area if anyone wants to cruise one night.

I'll be driving mine year round! I'll hopefully have it by the end of the month, just got a compression test left to do to see if i'll be looking at an engine in the near future. Hopefully I actually get some income tax back this year!

Ya, I gotta do the head gasket and water pump on the Talon and get that thing running too. I haven't driven a vehicle yet that compared to my Talon with winter tires in winter.

I've parked my Eclipse, but I want to fix up the Talon to drive. I've driven a DSM for the past two winters.

I think Garrett is the only other one that drives a DSM in winter, but I heard he spun a bearing.
