Hey, Argyle park here. My N/T laser isn't running, so no cruises atm!
nice to see lotsa rep here in the queen city

I'm currently in need of a few parts for my car
driver side door panel
headlights and side lamps

if anybody here has one of these, please reply
it's freaking hot whenever i drive cause i can't open my windows :|

Anyone running an HX35? My parts are on the way and a little collaboration is never a bad thing.

That's high on my list of turbos for the future. What parts are you getting? Are you going to be running stock housing or a bolt on housing?

Just got the turbo today actually, she is a BEAUTY! Im going to be running the BEP turbine housing with an external on a Punishment racing O2 housing. Currently trying to piece together a oil return.

Also 1990AWD, i noticed your also on the list for the DGR suspension buy, did you go with the street or track setup? I decided on track, but considering the roughness of sask roads im not sure that was the wisest choice....

Sweet, would love to run a Holset. What kind of supporting mods do you have though?

And I think im going to be getting in on the suspension group buy now too. I am going with a street kit for sure, 7k springs are pretty stiff as it is, 10k are going to be really really rough...

I'm going with the street set with +1 stiffer rear and the upgraded Swift springs. :sneaky:

Why the +1 in the back out of curiosity? Personally, my eibachs are like a 4k in the back and they are already pretty stiff. If anything I would go +1 in the front, not the back. I mean, its not going to help turn the car, its just going to make it more uncomfortable haha. However, not my car, and everyone has different tastes/styles/wants, glad to see you went with the swift springs though. I dont think I am going to get the swifts just yet, I want to try out the 7k front and back, then upgrade down the road if I want stiffer.

Anyways, would you guys want to do a combined saskDSM shippment, or maybe split it into two, one to saskatoon, and one to regina for me and Lyndon.

I was thinking +1 for the rear just to give a better launch at the strip :p And I'm going with the Swift springs to hopefully give it just that little better ride.

I'm down for anything that will save me money shipping wise.

Ya, that'd be cool if we could save some money on shipping. Im completely broke now that I bought these, but I figure it's going to be a good suspension that I won't ever need to change. I bought the track kit, because after a couple pm's with him it sounded like the best option for me. And the swift springs seem like they're a good option, plus anything that gets my car lighter is a big plus

Hmm hopefully the track set wont be too stiff... I guess we will see.

E116, is your car a track only car? (Mine isn't, if yours is i may change my mind)

Greddy, my profile is what I will be running when I finish my build. Im not building for max horsepower and I may go forged internals eventually, but for now I think this will suffice.

Regarding the coilover shipping together, has it been confirmed with Russ that ding this together would actually be less expensive?

nice, i see there's still a lot of dsmers here in sask, i thought they've been all dead since I don't see a lot in the streets and i see a lot of dsms being sold and whatnot

btw, I stole roly's dsm LOL

Yeah I dont know if Russ is going to be able to ship together because of the weight of these things. Sucks, but I guess we will see. What upsets me more is I am replacing my current setup with these because I have a defective strut apparently. One of my back tires is cupping, yet my alignment is in spec, and everything looks good otherwise, so not much else it can be...

Sup yall Im from Saskatoon I Own a 1st Gen Stock Talon! Been just getting the basics down pack before I try to upgrade! Lots to learn yet hoping yous all might help me if the time comes & Maybe even Vise Versa! Pce....

Sup man, good to have another one of us in Saskatoon. Ps does anyone else hate this effing postal strike? I have parts on the way!

Hey, anyone have a spare 1g SS clutch line hanging round? Mine aparently was rubbing on my intercooler piping and decided to blow apart today. My car is now living in a parkade till I get a new one in, so if no one has one I will be getting it rush shipped from Ziggy in ontario.

Thanks guys!

Hi everyone. First post so I thought I'd put it here. 95 Talon from Montmartre SK. Happy to see such a strong forum for our cars

Welcome!

Also, Air Tech can make up custom SS braided lines FYI. So getting one made now as I type this.

Nothing really for me to update, I've just been working at tuning my car and saving up for brakes and a FMIC.

New dsm running around the lloyd-saskatoon-battleford area. 1992 fwd tsi

I also have a 1992 awd tsi i'm selling, needs head work. 400$ come take it how it sits. has a VLSD rear diff in it.

I'm looking for some things, gonna see if anyone here has any of these items before I post wanted ads.

I need a fmic, I only want either the PR or ETS kit, flanged for a 1g BOV unless it comes with a decent one.

I'm also looking for a new clutch. I want a chromoly flywheel, so RRE, ACT, etc. and perferably not Fidanza unless its good and its cheap. I will be buying a Centreforce DF PP and street disc off a member here, but if someone else has a good deal on a something similar, let me know.

Thanks.

so why not take it to a machinest and have him copy the flange? like i've done 10 times now.. it's like 20-30$.. they water cut it right there infront of you. then weld it onto your charging pipe.
