Lifter Problem I think???

Ok to put it playin and simple. I pass 2000RPMS driving normal, and in neutral i here a heavy knock from my valve cover seal. once i pass 2500rpms it stops sometimes and comes back when it wants to. Can you guys please help me on this. I think is my lifters that are gettin stock or something round that area.

A "heavy" knock is NOT lifter tick, unless your idea of heavy and my idea of heavy are different.

The closest noise I can describe to you as to what lifter tick sounds like is a rainbird sprinkler as it turns "tick tick tick". The way you described it sounds like what I was having a problem with and it was in fact lifter tick.

If it truely is HEAVY it could be something more serious.
