I am sorry about the pic, they dont let ya get to close to the cape since 911, but i did find the limits of the 2G Fuel pump on that run..........

Due to the suspension differences between 1g and 2g cars, 2g cars do not have such a violent weight transfer. I have ground contorl coilovers and tokico 5ways on my car and have the front overloaded so that when I launch, my car distributes as close to 50/50 front to rear as possible. the car is almost level coming off the line so I put the max amount of power down. The 1gs with the wheels pivoted so much is very bad for traction and power loss. Those cars have so much less tire on the ground than if it was flat during a luanch. From what I understand, if we had a true 50/50 power distribution, you would want the same loading over every tire on the launch so no power is wasted. If you look at the pic of shep, his front is in the air but his rear tires are not bowed in as much due to his coilovers. Suspension tuning is critical to lowering 60 ft times as well as consistancy.

oh and the road is asphalt, no dust from that. also the crest of the hill can be seen on the very far right you can just barely see it start to trail down. most of those cars probably carry 20 or more feet in the air off that jump.

Not mine, but some dude that works at AMS
