Launch Pics!!!

If was going fast enough to get that much air, then there is no way he could gotten if the jump was that close, unless it was a REAL steep bump but then his car would have pointed up or down if he was coming into the landing. He just hit the top of that hill with alot of speed and shot it straight.

You can tell that this pic was taken on the hill and the road is higher. Look at the guy on the left side of the pic that has a red jacket on, he is alot lower then the road. AND he is looking up towards the car.

You can see the trees threw the cars side windows.. That has to be real! Its so freaken awesome!!

Here's one of Shep's car, thanks evotuners :thumb:

How in the mangina did that rally car above get that much air? I see no ramp or incline before the car

Hell Yea! Poor 3-bolt, He's running a 4-bolt now with a ton more power.

One of my launches, of course you never get the good ones. This one is with a 300% stiffer rear whiteline swaybar, all whiteline poly bushings(everywhere possible), Teins set to 16(hardest). So the squat may not be so great but considering my autocross suspension setup its decent.

that is from a scca pro rally event. at the end of the rally stages they have a hill climb style event that finishes with an uphill section faster than 80mph and usually ends in serious airtime. if you look around you'll see other pics of this same spot. i even found some videos of this at one point.

Hell yes! I love AWD launches. Is it just me or does it seem like the back tires point inwards a whole lot?

i know the weight transfer helps helps with this, but when a car gets its front wheels off the ground on a launch its only using 40% of its power.

Do you really not see the shadow on the ground near the people?

Notice the wheel gap in the rally photo too... If it is a photoshop it is def. not a photo taken on pavement and put in the air... the gap would have to be photoshopped. You can also see tree branchs through the passenger window and they match the tree outside the window.

ok i thnk its a fake, if u look at the red arrows, were is the shadow coming from on the back of his legs???? And on the front tired whenu zoom in u can see that it was colored in. But what gets me the most is, it looks like a dirt road, or gravel were si all the dust from him going so fast????? just something to think about?:thumb:

the shadow is part of the car's shadow.

this picture is taken on the final stage of one of the scca pro-rally's. the very last stage is a minute and a quarter long or so hill climb up this paved road. i can't remember the name of the rally for the life of me, but at one point i had videos of about 3 different evo 5's and a few dsm's jumping this hill at the very top of the hill climb. (evo5's since it was about 2 or 3 years ago and that's what most the us rally guys were using)
