The logger gives you the temps at the mas...this doesn't mean alot on a turbo car.
 
That will be very usefull in telling if your cold air intake design is working or if you need to do more. But unfortunately it will tell you nothing about the turbo, IC, or piping. I agree that you need it but it doesn't tell you about intake temps (at the TB) a whole lot.

If you need gauges and you are not into the bling bling you may want to look away from the normal manufacturers. Look at FAA sites and stuff like that.

I really like the quad EGT and CHT gauges they have available...and they are cheap as hell.
 
so the best place to plumb the air temp gauge is at the t-body elbow correct that seems like the only logical place to put it?
