yea a few but there closed down for the season sorry for the delayed responce my cay has been broke seince july 4 and i just fixed yesterday new cylinder heads and turbo

That I know of there are dragstrips in London, Clay City, and right outside of Louisville. There is a KY DSM forum that has had at least 2 meets since the summer. I don't want to be promoting another forum on here, so if you can't find it PM me and I can hook you up.

Naa, your car looks good bro. I live in Lewisport, so im not in town like i use to be when i lived in owensboro. My wife is from hancock county so she moved my ass up here, but i miss living there.

They turn the street lights off at 8:00 pm here

Maybe we can meet up on a weekend sometime. You hang out at any certin place, on Friday or Saturday night? -> or Sunday

yeah , me and all my buddies usually go to the parking garage, and if we aint there we are sittting in the plaza, which if you dont know what that is, its behind mcdonalds in westlyan park plaza by super kmart on fredrica street...yeah we all sit there all night fri sat and sun and just talk cars and stuffr haha your more than welcome to come over one night me and my buds just sit and chill

Wow, found some more DSM owners in the Owensboro area, sweet! I just joined this site obviously because I am a huge DSM fan.

I am currently the proud owner of 2 DSM's one blue 95 GS, and a 96 GSX. Some of the Owensboro members might already recognize my old car I used to have 96 RS, I posted a couple pics of it below.

The 95 GS has a full blown body kit, acura RSX tail light conversion, carbon fiber hood/hatch, as well as an entire professionally vinyled interior. Here are some pics before I bought it and had a new paint job, fenders, and bumper installed.

There's a sad ending to this tale though, both of my DSM's are sick, as in not running the way they should. The GS has a bad exhaust leak, and could use a good tune up, not to mention I am having legal problems since the guy I bought it from lived in California and never sent me the title when I had it shipped (Long Story). And as for the GSX, I just got done putting in a few more mods and am dealing with a few leaks including oil, antifreeze, and what seems to be an exhaust leak as well. The fun world of DSM's, ...but I love 'em.

Anyways, I hope to have mine up and running by the time we do this KY meet, if and whenever it happens. So keep me posted!

by the way although im into stock cars as far as anesthetics (too lazy to check spelling on that one) and looks, I kinda dig the rsx taillight conversion, clean work and dont look bad.
