Ohh 315.That's a hella upgrade for 420a's.Damm well then 390 auto 1g injectors would be like 800's to the 4g63 guys.

If there is anough interest, I will pick up the 315cc mustang injectors. So one set for two people.

While not all performance mods, useful for some I'm sure.

3G rear seats are a direct replacement, no modification required. (Well, I'm not 100% about the upper, but the lower is a direct fit)

Hyundai valve covers are popular, but some of them need their own bolt/stud kits.

2G 420A Coolant reservoirs are nice for the 2G short route FMIC guys, since it fits nicely unlike the stock one.

I know I have more, I'll pop back in later.

We should really keep this realistic. Are you going to find a Supra with the turbo/ic/piping in it?

Or an Evo for that matter. Or Cobra brakes.

To me that chance is slim to none. I suppose it would be nice to list it incase somebody does get incredibly lucky.

for the guys with big FMICs. grab the air deflector off the bottom of the radiator core of a fox mustang or '80's Trans Am. Makes a big difference in cooling.

for the 420a:
jeep I6 4.0 TB swap (with some modification)

for the 420a 5-speed:
neon SOHC 5 speed final gear (takes the final gear down to 3.55)

For the 420a automatic:
Final drive gears from the 99 Dodge stratus with the 2.0 motor (part# 4773275). The stock gears are a 47/49 tooth count, where as the stratus gears are a 46/50 count, better gear ratio for better acceleration.

why has no one mention GM Maf's they are readily available at junk yards.

Not necesarily an upgrade but 300m/intrepid coils.

dodge avengers use the same interior as 2g's so those of you with peeling airbags can gather them up.

3000gt fuel pumps

99 ford crown victoria injectors if you got the huevos to use them 1600cc injectors

Also GM 3 bar map sensors and IAT sensors

This isn't that unrealistic. There's a MarkII turbo in my local salvage yard. :D

I didn't see that anyone answerted about the 1g cas on the 2g car.. Well the short end of it is there's a bit more wiring cut-up and soldering than most people seem to want to do to start with and 2nd i don't think it fits on the head as the 2g CAS is quite different and I think the bolt/studs are in different locations but i don't have a 2g head here to check that with.

The 1g CAS was a direct bolt-on onto my 95 head, I can't vouch for my 97 though, I'll look this weekend.

I know it isn't a swap from DSM to DSM, but a junkyard oil/tranny cooler off a pickup is a nice upgrade.

It's a chore to get this one out, but worth it.

For the 2G AWD MANUAL TRANSMISSION guys,

The LSD viscous type rear differential is labeled BFH 3.545, direct swap. You'll need axles and the pumpkin.

For the 2G AWD AUTO TRANSMISSION guys,

Same thing but the differential is labeled JFH 3.307.

Thats nice but thats not an upgrade on a stock setup. It would still be the same as running stock 450ccs but now even richer during WOT. Fuel cut happens at the same time no matter an upgraded injector or not.

They're just not that plug and play type of mod. If someone had the tuning solution, yeah then this would be a great injector to pick out the local yard for cheap. But I just read that thread on injectors and SUPPOSEDLY they arent close flow match wise so maybe not a great mod for the serious tuner.

I have a VW/Audi non cruise throttle cable. I pulled the cable off a 99 Audi 1.8t, the swap was rather painless.

somebody mentioned the 3g lifters in the hyundai sonata, but they were also in later model kia optima's,

3000gt bov on a 2g is a good upgrade if you can't find a 1g bov

a 4G64/G4CS 2.4 liter 100mm stroker crankshaft found in the early hyundai sonatas/mitsubishi galants is an upgrade for both the 1g's and the 2g's.

or the complete 2.4 4G64/G4CS crank and block.

an eprom ecu might be an upgrade, well if you already own dsm link or other tuning software.

That's all I can think of right now.

If rx7 injectors are DSM applicable, they would not be plug and play without some kind of tuning.

The other problem with RX7 injectors is that finding an FD will be a pain in the ass. I dont know much about them, but FCs use 2 different size injectors so, you would need to find 2 matching FCs to have an entire set.

Also its worth noting that OEM rx7 injectors tend to leak.

This isn't really a mod but I figured I would put it out here. The 95-2000 avenger and Sebring door handles will fit a 2g eclipse talon. A lot easier to find at the jy. Also for the 420a guys if they're like their neon counterparts then the throttle body on an auto is bigger than a manual. Direct bolt on.
