that was me in my white 2 gen parked by the fuel station...Well I was going to ask why nobody showed to the track, but it looks like everyone but the pink 1g and an all to fast hopefully non-turbo Eclipse cut out early. There was a white 2g parked on the rail by the fueling station, but it was just hanging out. There were a ton of domestics and damn those Chevy trucks...sleepers!
hay cindy run her best 10.3
Everyone Post Some Times From Sat.!

Side note...
Why the hell doesn't she spray that pink car to spool the thing at the line? It takes her FOREVER to stage because she is trying to spool it in the pre-stage beams.
And I'm not trying to stir anything up, but I know a few of you guys talk to them and I would like to know the answer. Bet she'd run a tad quicker too.

So please don't throw stones at me

Justin I think something is up with your stock turbo, either that or you have some major boost leaks.

plus it was my first time to the track and I really had launching problems. 60ft was 2.5sec
... everything else looks good to meDont feel bad my best 60ft is 2.3sec... But the only thing i would change about your car is the spoiler... everything else looks good to me
, I knew someone will mention that! Almost all DSMers think our cars looks great with no wing or with the stock wing. Well, what can I say - I like my wing and I put it on replacing the stock one in purpose - because I like it!
Its my crappy stock ic pipes.

Well if you look at a couple of months ago, her best time ever was a 10.7 I believe. She ran a 10.3 this time around.....to me that's a huge improvement. Sure she could spray, but when she get's in the 9's there would be those people saying....."oh but she's spraying".

"All too fast hopefully non-turbo" above was probably said about my car, right?
Well, it is turbo. But the car is bone stock excepts exhaust and intake. With 142k miles on motor and turbo. Best time was 15.37 which on my opinion is still pretty good for the stock car with such a high mileage.
Also, I got it just 2 months ago, never had time to get use to it, plus it was my first time to the track and I really had launching problems. 60ft was 2.5secSo please don't throw stones at me
As for the ricey look. Well, first of all I'm from the third-world country, and such look would be cosidered super cool over there, he-he. Also, I fugured once you start modifying an engine it leaves you no time or money to do something with appearence of your car. So I started with appearence though I knew 99% of you will consider me ricey and shit. I don't worry about that 'cus I know my plans for future and pretty soon the way this car runs and handles will match it's look
I'm sure all above said wouldn't change anybody's opinion, but I still feel better now
So when are we "Finally" gunna see your car?? Next meets in Austin so no excuses

Unless your car ran 17's, I wasn't refering to you. You must of got a few runs and left, because there was only the 17sec and white DSM there when we got there.
As for you times, decent times for what's done to it and lack of time with it. Yes, your car is a bit on the rice side for me, but it doesn't look bad.
Thanks, man.He did. Unless you want to hear about that 17.something the only other DSM that went down the track ran. That's all I saw while I was there, but we did show up almost 2 hours after they started racing.

How have I never noticed your car? I thought I knew all the DSM crew in Austin. Was this car up for sale some time ago?

Oh yes now I remember. I think you were at the Best Buy/Circuit City meets long ago.
This is my most recent of six DSMs, I know how you feel. I hung out with that old crew back in the day. Paul and I worked on our cars together. I had the 2gb black GS-T with the a large Greddy front mount.
I remember racing Love LONG ago; she had that white GS-T. oh memories...
