theres a huge thread about them, just search for it.

i bought their 8 inch rear facing outlets style fmic. it looks very nice, but as paul pointed out to me, the aluminum is made of very thin (cheaper) metal. the fins are extremely thin. im personally going to put some screen over it and call it a day. its a nice peice, but there is NEVER any way of getting around, "you get what you pay for". the only exception is when people as too much for a product, never to little.

Darn I had no ideal that this thread had so many reviews, I may just go with pte's fmic for 270 From slowboy. I'm on a very tight budget so I'll get what I can afford for now thankx for all your info Guys!!!!!

I run one of his side to sides, and I wish i woulda gone short route  It does its job though, and I have nothign bad to say about the fins mine are all still like new/unbent.

I got the side to side 25x8x3's and they're adequate even for my 50trim. Along with a short pipe kit from Straightline Specialties ($195) you can have a good budget FMIC setup. Had it for about a year now and fins are still in good condition.

I've got one too. It's put together very well. Too bad the fins and Michigan's salted roads don't get along.

i actually started the huge 900 somethin reply thread LOL, anyway, i just got mine finally and fitted it up today... check it out

Actaully like years ago, I've had a jrc and sold it for a street busher core already.

I ran the time in my sig with and EVO 16g and the Johnny Race Car 8" core. Its a gread budget core.

All I remember reading about that is the one with rear facing outlets was made specifically for a 1g. It's somewhere in the LONG thread.

its still the exact same size core.

Unless he just buys the end tanks and welds them on for the normal IC's and for the one with rear mounts he has to make them himself. I'll look into it more

I was also one of the contributors to the huge Johnny thread, along with Stoner, 1badtsi, and a few others. Many people speculated that it couldn't handle bigger than a 16g. It handles my 50trim like a champ. Even after 2-3 hard pulls the outlet is still nice and cool. Even on 22psi with hardly any knock...I mean MINIMAL knock.
1badtsi, glad you finally got that thing on. I went through that whole thread last year wondering if you'd ever get one. Looks sweet, mang!

I just finished mine last week, it looks great, haven't gotten a chance to get out and tune it to see how much it really helped though. Thats next week hopefully if its not snowing and below zero. I got my JRC off ebay for 110 shipped, bought piping from jcwhitney, silicone couplers and tbolt clamps from ebay, put beads on my piping with jbweld, dejon j pipe, and pro comp radiator fan from ebay, all for around $350. Worked out pretty nicely, all though the driver's side piping on 1g awd's are a b*tch. check my gallery for a few pics of it.

I have one and i have no problems with it.. I was actually really happy with my purchase i would recommend it for a small to medium turbo

i bought one in the past, sold it before i used it, i spent my money on a griffin fmic with short route endtanks. Like someone stated, you get what you pay for. My almost 500 dollar fmic is of course nicer than a JRC, but if your on a budget their the way to go.
