JB Weld 1g TB vacuum port?

I have a 1g throttle body in a 2g, so I endded up having an extra vacuum port I dont use. Right now I have a vacuum cap installed, but it seems that these caps eventually get brittle. I wanted to know if it was okay for me to block off the angled vauume port with some JB weld instead of a rubber cap

I soldered mine closed since I have no use for any of them. JBWeld should work too.

I cut all mine flush with the TB and JB welded them shut a few months ago. No leaks at 35 psi. I got so damn tired of replacing the vac caps every few months!!!
