well, my dsm is in the hospital:( i broke the crank pulley somehow. but i won't have it back till 5 oclock tomorrow night :cry:

yea when are you supposed to get your crispy ride back?
 
i dunno, i was aiming for wednesday, but theres just so many problems with it. i may just have to scratch the motor and get a rebuilt one.:cry:

im in the club too until next week..where do you go to school at isotta..?..dont fret,your car will be back up and running within no time my friend..:)
 
Hell, I been in the club for a few weeks, now, and I didn't even know it! :rolleyes:

My throwout bearing went two and a half weeks ago and I've been slowly trying to fix it...
 
Yeh, my 2G needed a clutch and AC repairs right off. Seemed like forever.

My 92 broke the "Harmonic Damper"
or crank shaft pully as you call it

driving down the interstate. and it start wobblin and whineing, and just went, and of course, all the power belts came off, and i see check engine, check battey, check every ####kin thang under the hood lights come one, and the broken ring is spinning around smacking against stuff, and im like, OH SHIT its dead

but 20$ from a junkyard, and 40 minutes on a friday evening, i had it swapped.

why take it to a shop? its cake

i don't have the tools to get the assembly off and i tried to get it at a junk yard and it was (believe it or not) nowhere to be found the 4G37 uses a different crank pulley than the 4G63.... i think

My sig is 300x250 and it is of one of my vehicles :)
 
don't feel bad guys, my mechanic caused my car to be out for 6 weeks because of the clutch!!!! :mad: :mad:

but then i got it back from him (not fixed) and fixed it in 3 days...LOL

i'm gonna open up a shop sometime, once my grandparents quit parkin their car in MY garage!!! :laugh:

as for my car, i dunno. the motor is pretty cooked. we're getting in touch with Street Imports, where i bought the motor from, cause it has a 60 day warrantee on it after date of installation. so i may be back to day one with the motor swap again. theres just so much wrong with the other one that i dont even know where to start with getting it fixed.

anyways, good lookin out 25
 
Mines down to for a broken shift fork. Now I've got a run a FWD tranny till I can get the parts for this one. All new syncros and shiftforks this time. Yeeaaahh this is gonna be fun, rolling the tires off through 3rd gear will be interesting. It will be nice to have a working tranny though........
 
Dont forget to add me to the list - It's running but rearended. I'm not driving it till it's fixed.

My 1.8"s got a banged up frontend, I've got most of the parts save a fender to fix it - but its been what's been driving me around for the last few weeks, so it's certainly not dead.
