is there such thing as JDM/cyclone tranny?

well since my synchros are so bad, i know a place that sells JDM engines with trannys for 650 and 350 respectivley...is there such thing as a jdm or cyclone tranny? if so, will it bolt up to the USDM engine? the drivetrain this place sells are supposedly under 40k miles so 350 is a pretty good price IMO if it will fit.

yes there are such things as jdm trannies. anything with a c50 or c51 on the bell housing will have the correct drive raito for your car. you want to get a np or nq after the W5S33-NPxx or W5S33-NQxx. i think thats right. not sure have to go look at my tranny when i get out of school. the last 2 letters dont matter. 350 for used jdm trannies is a pretty good deal. where is this place ?

i will get the name of it when i talk to my friend...he ordered a cyclone for 650 and the tranny for 350 i think its something like "low mileage engines" out of new jersey...its a chinese guy and hard as hell to understand..i'll see what i can get out of him.

man I would really like to have that JDM tranny, but it scares me getting the ratio wrong. Is there anywhere tha I can go to help me ID the trannys?
