Something is not right. That amount of timing is for a light cruise, not WOT. What timing DO you get at light cruise? What about knock at WOT? Mark

knock would pull timing, I dont know what to tell you but that is too high for wot. Peak timing should be around 20btdc give or take a few degrees.

I am at around 23 deg at WOT running 17-18psi with my turbo. That is seriously too high, I agree with the others, log your throttle position at WOT.

Will we just change the timing belt too. Do you think we did the timing wrong? My motor sounds weird, at idle it sounds like a v8 thats going to blow. Lifters would sound loud and motor would shake sometime (bogging). Also when starting the car it bogs and idles low for a min. or so then goes to its original idle (Feels like Air/Fuel not mixing right). Also when driving for a while and leave at idle, rpm would jump from 1000-2000 rpm repeatedly for a min. or 2. PLEASE HELP

Yes i will post the log as soon as i datalog it again.

I would also check your base timing. Should be around 5 degrees TDC on a 1g. You don't want to do anymore wot runs on that much timing advance because chances are your going to blow a head gastket if you haven't done the damage already. Obviously something isn't right
