Is it my TPS?(1g in a 2g)

I've noticed that when I'm logging on dsmlink that my rpm signal starts getting a little jagged after about 3k. Shouldn't it be a smooth line? Can it be my TPS is going bad?Engine is a '92 4g63 if that's any help.
