I have a 95 gst with an intake downpipe exhuast and a greddy type rs bov, i dont have a boost gauge but the stock boost gauge if you can call it that get to the max level then at around 3500 4000 rpm there is a loud pop and all my boost is gone then it sucks it back in any idea??

Is it possible that you're BOV is releasing too early while your still on the throttle due to incorrect adjustment? Your post is kind of confusing but from what I got out of it I think you should adjust the GReddy and see if that helps at all.

i made the bov spring harder still no luck... to clarify my car will start to boost then just as it reaches its max level of boost at around 3500 4000 rpm there is a loud pop and my boost level drops then it picks up again a little then lets it all out again

I had the same problem with a cheap ebay bov pop and no boost cloud of black smoke after trashed the bov put stock one on fine now.

Finally got around to doing a boost leak test. To my suprise, I discovered that the rubber piece that gets sandwhiched between the intercooler and the uicp was leaking air like all hell. Pulled the piping out of the car and found that that stupid a** little POS rubber (sealer?) thing was ripped like in half... hard piping time!

Point is, do a boost leak test. It is also very important that you get a boost gauge installed. Like everyone said above, sounds like you're boosting to high for whatever reason. Check to see if your waste gate vacuum line is connected.
