So i am planning on picking up an Aeromotive FPR for my eclipse pretty soon. i was just wondering how i should go about hooking up the vacuum lines. Would it be the same as having it hooked up to teh stock FPR? Thanks guys

All you need is a single line from the IM (or other reliable boost source) to the AFPR. The factory FPR selenoid can be eliminated.

So do people not run their fuel pressure solenoid with AFPRs? I know that they experiance hard starts when it gets hot out.

And i am going to be running ECMlink v3 lite when i get some more money, can you disable the CEL for the FPS when i bypass it?

I believe you can turn off the CEL with Link, can't give you a 100% answer as I don't have a 2g.

You don't need the selenoid because you manually set the base pressure and then it is raised from there via the boost source.

My car looses fuel pressure after sitting a while, but it has always started just the same as before, hot or cold.

If you desire, a simple direct replacement with the OEM FPR is possible. I never removed the solenoid and never had an issue.

If you haven't bought your AFPR yet, I recommend Extreme PSI's Aeromotive kit with instal kit which is found here. I also have the fuel feed kit and the quality is great and it works awesome.

I was looking into the billet fuel filter and SS lines. That AFPR kit looks awesome!! definitely going to pick up both of those as soon as i can. Definitely makes the engine bay look waaaay sicker!
