First of all, damn is this thing quite! I'm running the rsr downpipe to the catback and it sounds damn near stock. Just a little more boomy is how I can explain it.
So I go out for a quick run and with my old exhaust the turbo would spool full around 2800 and now it seemed to not hit full boost until 3000. Both were runs in second gear. It also doesn't seem to have that jolt of power.
It does seem to drive smoother though. Doesn't really seem faster though... I should be around 240hp now with my setup... While checking my transmisstion oil though I found a leaf in my intercooler and took it out
I'm resetting my ECU right now.
If anyone wants some pics met me know.
Also the stock exhaust on a 2G GST is 2" not 2 1/4. I had to chop my muffle and that's what it measured. Stock down pipe is 2" too. So I think a full 2 1/2 exhaust would be great for mildly modded cars.
