I have an Injen intake that was hooked up to my stock BOV. I now have an HKS SSQV BOV, so I don't need to use the dump tube inlet anymore. Is there a products from Injen or anyone else that blocks off the dump tube on the intake? Or do I need to take a trip to the hardware store and make my own plug?

Thanks.

Did you buy your HKS SSQV new? The 2G kit for the SSQV is supposed to come with the flange adapter and a plug for your stock tube. If you have the injen pipe you will have to fab a piece of radiator hose to make the plug fit. I can show you pics of mine if you like.

yeah I did get it new, and it did come with the plug for the stock dump tube, but that plug doesn't fit in the inlet on the injen intake.

Ig et what you're saying with the radiator hose tho....just clamp it on the dump tube inlet, then clamp the plug in the other end. I was just wondering if there was a plug from a manufacturer to keep it looking clean. I might just run to Aqualand and get a rubber plug that they use to connect bottom plates to a dock pole. A piece of rubber with a bolt through it and a nut on the end, so when you tighten the nut, the rubber thing squishes therefor expanding and plugging off the inlet. Sound like a good idea or no?

Thanks guys!

ya..id get the recirculation kit..

wow thanks for all the input guys. I've been running the SSQV BOV without recirculating it for quite some time noe and the car doesn't seem to run any different. Idle seems fins and actually running a little lean between gears....thought it was going to be rich......the only thing its effected is the gas milage.

Thanks again everyone!

It may feel like its running fine but its not. They designed the car with the recirculation for a reason. As you said your gas milage sucks ass... so your not running as good as with it on.
