I was wondering the same thing.

I'm about to land a 95 Eclipse, Im trading my 92 Civic for it.

The guy that did this saw a big gain over stock..

I dont know why no one hasn't atempted this... any ideas?
Because I haven't gotten around to it yet, :coy::thumb:. Its on my to do list, just have other items that I'm working on.

And yes it is doable with our engines. It is tight back there but it will work. I already have a plan for it. Just get off my back!! :p

As for Sick's set-up, he did a lot more than just the ITB's. It was quite a bit of impressive work that he did (from the port work to the intake work to the deck work to the etc.). Just very impressive work that netted him well over 200whp on a SINGLE cam motor. He is now considered THE single cam god over there.

As for the ITB's, there a few neon guys who have done them (AMM Mike is one you may recognize). But Sick's set-up was built with ability to take advantage of ITB's. Hence the great numbers.

I have been under the understanding that my set-up (as it grew) was not ready for the ITB's. I'm thinking I'm pretty close now.

with those itbs dont u risk destroying your motor with the pure fact that your are sucking anything and everything in? i mean there is non filters

I was hoping to hear from you because I know that you have the AMM intake manifold ( allmotormike). Sick has the AMM Manifold version for the neon that he dyno'd against his "Morpheus" design and it made more power.. Im not saying that the "Morpheus" Design is better than the AMM on the DSM 420a platform, and Don't get me wrong. I think the AMM intake manifold is Awsome and I WISH that I had one. I just think that there is more power to be made in the ITB Style...

There are various designs out there for air filtering. Compared to the ITB's themselves, easy peasy ;). You can go individual filters or a box style.

ACTUALLY, Mike and I have had conversations about him making me an ITB set-up sometime, LOL.

oh yeah me an mark have talked and im ready whenever he is.......... just need see if he is still interested in working with me (u know what i mean mark). i bolted mine onto my stock sohc neon (with a mopar computer) at the track like 2 years ago and it took 1 full sec off my et and gave me 3-4 mph's no tuning or anything, just bolted them on.
