I have a '98 GSX that I recently removed the stock catalytic converter and bolted on a test pipe. Check Engine light is now on due to the 02 sensor. Is there any way to get the Check Engine light off??

has an o2 simulator and that will get rid of your check engine light

Installation Instructions
**All connections should be soldered and insulated with electrical tape or heat-shrinking tubing.**
Find your secondary O2 sensor(s).

Establish which O2 sensor wires are Signal, +12 and Ground. Use a factory service manual for reference. Chilton's or Haynes manuals can be found at your local library and auto parts store.

Verify +12V wire with a voltmeter by probing the wire when ignition is in the ON position.

Verify the Ground wire by measuring the resistance or continuity between the wire and chassis. The resistance should be very low.

Disconnect the Negative battery terminal.

Connect (splice) the O2 Simulator Black wire to O2 sensor Ground.

Connect (splice) O2 Simulator Red wire to O2 sensor +12V.

Cut the sensor's signal wire completely. **The side that leads to the O2 sensor should be taped off. It will not be used.**

NOTE: If you have single exhaust and/or only one secondary O2 sensor, you will only use one of the Yellow wires coming from the O2 Simulator. Cut and insulate the remaining Yellow wire.

Connect the O2 Simulator Yellow wire to the other half of the signal wire that leads to the ECU. If you have two secondary O2 sensors perform steps 8 and 9 with both sensors

Reconnect the Negative battery terminal.

With the ignition in the ON position O2 Simulator LED should be lit.

get dsmlink and you can do crazy stuff with it ..... you have DTC on it and a lot of other things, dsmlink is best thing ive ever spend money for.
for your sensor problem just click on the button :tease:

Eh it happens.

Either put a cat on it, rewire to fool it, or keep clearing the code with you logger.
