I'm gonna be a daddy

Well, I just found out a few months ago and i've been hiding it a bit but my fiance and I are having a beautiful baby girl

We're both a little nervous but overall extremely excited. This will be both of our firsts'. She's due August 2nd. I'll be updating the thread every once and a while with pictures and stuff.
We're trying to find names and so far we like:

Brooklynn
Charley
Kaidance

Looks like i'll be painting a car pink in about 15 or so years

I also found out about a month agao that I am going to be having a baby! It's not due until Nov. 17th though. We don't get to find out what the sex is until 20 weeks and she is only at 8 weeks. This will also be our first but im very excited.

Congrats to both the expecting fathers in this thread! Being a dad myself (3yr old boy & 6month old boy/girl twins) let me tell you that babies change everything for the better. Just make sure momma is comfortable during the last three months or so, it will be worth it. Fatherhood !

Congrats man, me and my wife are also expecting a baby, my wife is due on August 22nd! Pretty crazy! Unfortunately we don't know what it is yet (the military doctors and giving us the run around so qwe have to go onto the German economy to find out what we're having). We think it's going to be a girl, so far the only two names we like are:
Alana
Alexis
Haven't really thought about any boy names, we should find out what it is at the end of the month!

Congrats man! Those 12 weeks are gonna kill you. God a week before we found out which was only a few days ago, I was clawin my damn eyes out. Time was going so slow I could have pushed my car down the track and still ran 10 seconds...

Yeah, shes pretty emotional right now, our nervousness isn't helping but we're getting through it all. Shes already tired of being preggo hah!

Haha we did the SAME THING! We had all girl names but NO boy names. I think that might have jinxed me. Oh well. It was pretty convenient.

Anyway, Just wanted to add to it all that my step brother, who is also named Steve is having a baby as well. They dont know the sex yet but it's due Aug. 11th or so.
Crazy I know... our parents are pretty shocked that they're going to be grandparents with two little ones only days apart. I'm lovin it.

Well ad me to the list of expecting DSM daddies. I've got a little boy coming around the begining of June. I already have a 2 1/2 year old girl. +1 on keeping momma happy. One thing I learned from the first pregnancy is feed her before she gets hungry and put her to bed before she gets tired(I mean momma) and you'll be ahead of the game. Congrats guys.

Congrats to all the expecting parents. For those first time parents, never give up on your own dreams they just have to be put down the list a little. As a parent of 3 myself, and 2 step children (ranging in age from 5-13), I can vouch that early on it seems like a lot of hard work. However, as they get older there are so many fun things you can do with them. Any then of course there is the time when they are old enough to start doing on their own, this is when you can go back to your own dreams. Of course they will be changed a little but, it will still be worth it. It has taken me 13 yrs to get back to my own dreams, and I am loving it.

Guys as difficult as it might be do not get mad when she starts to yell at you for no reason. Remember that her hormones are in overdrive and that could make her a bit touchy. Some of the best phrases you can use are "yes dear" and "sorry dear". Just try to make sure she is comfortable throughout the pregnancy, and remind her how beautiful you think she is. This will seem like the longest 9 months of your life.
