i need tog et rid of my 2.4in my eclipse spydr, what should i get>?

ive been searching, and searching and searching, i don't know what i should do, ive talked to alot of people and they gave me alot of ideas....what i would like to do is stick the 4g63t 2g engine in my car, if the 1g engine will fit without to much changing around i wouldnt mind that one either, ive even did some research into converting my 4g64 sohc into a 4g63 which i heard would be better being its a bigger engine, but it alot of work and time it takes to do that. if anyone has any ideas, or any good websties with used jdm engines, or some info on the evo engines, let me know. thanks

what for my 4g64, well it has low mileage, 39,000 and i want to get rid of transmission too, it has a stage 2 clutch master clutch, make me a offer then we can work it out....

Keep your bottom end, put better rods/pstions in it, then put a 4g63T head onto it

yea i did do some research on converting my engine, but it just seems like it would be alot of work and time, and plus i cant find a turbo manifold for the 4g64, ive looked all over the place......

Umm all you have to do is use the 4g63T head/intake/exhaust manny etc. Putting in a whole 4g63 would be the same process mostly.

Thats true, what about the computer system?, what would be involved in changing my car to work with the conversion, and the turbo...

A 94-98 Galant block is identical to a 96-99 4g64 block found in your car. Basically us turbo guys are starting to use the 4g64 bottom end to get .4 more liters. WAY more tq. You can put our 4g63 head etc all onto your 4g64 block.

im just wondering.....the eclipse and the evo 3 uses the 4g63t, y does one have 210 hp, and the other 280, that would be a good swap wouldnt it? the evo 3 in my car.....

evo has a bigger turbo, higher CR pistons, some other stuff

As he said, the EVO has a 16g turbo, bigger injectors, 8.7:1 compression and runs more boost stock
The US 4g63T has a 14b or T25 turbo, 7.8:1 or 8.5:1 compression and less boost sotck.
