I need some detailed instructions on emission stuff

I wanna get rid of anything in my engine that is weighing it down, not needed, or things that are just taking up space. What are my options, how do i do it, and will anything bad happen or any risks? Also, where can I get one of those filters that comes off your valve cover that replaces the line to your air pipe, and how do i cover the hole on the air pipe?
