Is there a reason that I can't go WOT until the trims are settled in since the ECU doesn't use trims at WOT? I just don't want to be stuck driving around for 3 days and not be able to put the pedal to the floor.

You'll probably be pig-rich with the sliders zeroed out. Just figure a few hours to dial-in the injectors, then the next morning you can go out and do your WOT tuning.

1 med to long day or 2 half days should get your car pretty damn close to what you're looking for.

OK looks like everything is answered here except:

timing sliders are on ALL the time. It doesn't matter about throttle position, rpm, etc.

NLTS is hell on my stock tranny, but I can tell it'll give me a better 1/4, so it's worth it :)

When I meant clutch switch, you actually wire the cruise control switch. Same job, just different wire.

But if I'm only interested in the studderbox, all I have to do is plug back in the clutch switch I disconnected so I could start the car with the clutch out?

After spending about $4k this year on the car I've only driven about 100 miles, the wife is getting a little "antsy". :) So the last thing I want to do is smoke the tranny. She told me that she wouldn't care except that I never drive the car.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the studderbox uses the speed sensor for activation. I have my clutch wire disconnected like you do , and launch control works fine. You just need to set the launch control deactivation speed ( I think the default is 7MPH)

edit-wait, you do need to install the new clutch wire for the shift rev limit when you are going faster than your launch speed.

Those are two different things, forcefed.

a stutterbox launch is enabled under (at default 7mph) a certain mph. The second thing you're talking about is doing a 'stutterbox launch' while moving. Say, you're in third gear on the highway and you want to eliminate lag; just push the clutch in and go WOT, then dump the clutch and you'll start moving with some boost. For that, you will need to wire in the clutch switch supplied by DSMLink.

The only thing I would like to add.....

Under the sliders (timing/fuel) there are estimated values. Don't rely on them as being 100% accurate when setting up.

I see in your mod list that you have a WB, that will prove to be a great purchase to DSMLink.
