 I need some help with my valvecover!!!! I just purchased a stock valvecover that is in immaculate condition and I was wanting to either paint it or polish it. I was wanting some sugguestions on how to go about painting it ex.( what type of paint, how many coats, things like that) or some tips on how to polish it ex.( what types of sandpaper, and other things like that)? I want to be able to do this so that it want look shitty. THANKS ALOT!!!!!!!:thumb:

Powdercoating w/polished letter/numbers is the SH*T. It looks soooo gooood! Now if I only had a car to do it to......DAMNIT I hate this.

I really like typewriter paint, the stuff that wrinkles up. That and polished letters. Or, a bead-blasted finish and polished letters. Then again, when I was doing that kind of stuff, there wasn't any power finishes available. The "chrome" powdercoat is remarkable, but I'm not a big fan of chrome or fully-polished rockerboxes..... trauma during youth in a large Hispanic-population area.
