I have a 1992 GS N/T, with a blown auto transmission.
I was told about this Level 10 place and got very interested in their AWD auto. So I started thinking. Since im planning to put the turbo motor in soon, im thinking about creating a rare auto GSX.
But there is a lot of unknown stuff that i need help with and i know yall can help

1) For the AWD... would all the GSX stuff fit a car designed for auto and FWD?

2) And Where whould i find this stuff and for how much?

3) What am i forgetting or overseeing, because besides the money this seemes a little too easy of a conversion.

Well thatnks for everything, and i know you guys will know whats up!!:dsm:

Just junk the car, buy a 90-92 GSX, it would be a world oof trouble if you try the other way, good luck and the GSX coversion is just a dream at best.

Well first of all, i need the car for work, and dont want to junk my car. Secondly, i dont ####in dream... and im just lookin for solutions... not excuses

and that is why people don't get help cause they don't know how to take advice they don't want to hear.only what they want to hear so why even ask the question do what you think is right and when you get a couple thousand dollars down the road and you realize that you could have made a car that was already awd fast and all you did was make yours awd just think about what you were told

firstly, if you need the car for work the last thing yout want is to have it laid up for 6 months doing an AWD conversion.
secondly, think money. like a lot more money than what a mint 92 GSX costs unless you do the work yourself. in that case think time, effort, and patience....and money. still lots of money. i think $8k is the going rate for the AWD spyder conversion. i just pulled that out of my ass. i think thats what a guy i know told me it would have cost him.
lastly, you would have a non turbo, AWD automatic. that thing is going to be slow. even if you do want a turbo motor, slicks are a hell of a lot cheaper than AWD.
take these guys and my advice and forget it. if you need more convincing do a search on it. people have been slammed worse than you for asking this question.

Yea you need a car for work yet you are going to do an AWD conversion and have a HUGE downtime. Plus get a auto gsx. Its cheaper and faster.
