I have a turbo that is from a 90 TSI AWD. It has TDO5H stamped on the aluminum housing. How do I tell exactly what model it is. I keep hearing about 14 and 16Gs. Please help me figure this out.

Prolly a 14b. 16g is an upgrade. <---Disregard if you have a JDM engine and were lucky enough to get a 16g/510cc inj. combo.

If it's the stock turbo from the tsi then it's a 14b no ??. All of the 16g's that i have seen have had the TDO5H stamped on it. So you might be lucky.

Nope no way that i can see. i just found a pic of the 14b which does have TDO5H on it and found a pic of the 16g which has the TDO5H on it also and they look like twins. I have no clue either
