how much hp can the brakes hold?

I´ve got a 97 talon, stock n/t. how much hp can the brakes hold? Can i put on a hahn stage 2 without upgrading the brakes?

??, that is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. They dont hold hp, they slow down the speed, and it is how fast the rotors are turning. They should be fine. I dont think you are gonna be doing any high speed turning or autocrossing.

There are regulations on how much you can tune your car with the breakes you´ve got on the car. Like you can´t tune your car up to 600hp with the stock breakes.

you can have a 600hp eclipse with stock brakes, but i wouldnt recommend it. A better question to ask is at what hp level should I start thinking about upgrading the brakes? But there are plenty of people with a stage 2 kit and stock brakes

Just dont worry about your brakes, until you start doing some insane stopping, and autox. If you want to...slap a pair of ebc green stuff disc pads on there, and some cross drilled or slotted rotors.
