How many PSI can a N/t really run... safely. Because I was told by a guy who actually put a turbo on his NT that you shouldn't run it higher that 10psi... I'd like some info because I plan on turboing "eventually" LOL.

if u plan on just puttin a turbo and not enhancin the pistons or the cams or the pulleys, injectors, ect. than i suggest u boost around 6 psi. now, if u plan on upgradin everything, then u could easily boost a lot higher than dat. but dats a big IF.

I want to run the 6psi extreme kit from turbo-kits.com. I only plan on doing externals to the car, I do not currently plan on actually rebuilding the engine or anything because my engine performs like it has been rebuilt (and I just bought it, so my mechanic says it probably was rebuilt and just never got mentioned). I am going to do only a nice intake and a full exhaust job, a GOOD intake and exhaust, not the really cheap won't do nothing but sound nice type.

I just realized how much it would really cost for the better stuff with that kit, it would pay me better to just save up that much and buy a freaking used already turbo DSM from someone who just needs a bit of money, you know? The prices on this stuff is CRAZY!

yes, specially since u say ur car is runnin like garbage. if u stay under 2grand for the entire turbo kit and set up, then ur straight.

Depends on your tuning really. Throw some 2g pistons in there, or maybe some lower compression 1g ones and you'll be able to hold a lot more power.
