how do you remove the side pieces on the low spoiler?

i think it looks really good when you take off the 2 side pieces on the 3 piece low spoiler. I have taken the 2 screws out that are hidden by the hatch , what else do i have to take off so this piece will come off, thanks

I've never seen that done before, are you talking about the two connecting pieces of the spoiler that are still left on the car when u lift the hatch?

when you open the runk there are 2 screws in the side peices, unscrew those and then pull up and the peices, their will be a lil plastic conector towards the front just pull up, then remove the frame holding that on, their should be 4 screws maybe 5, hope this helps

yea, thats what i was talking about, there is a piece of sticky tape and 2 screws holding it on. i decided not to take it off for now, it would need to be filled and painted so i decided id just leave it alone for now. it would look really nice without the 2 sides, anyone have a pic, i have seen one but i dont know where

i removed mine to put on my racing spoiler. all i did was take it off fill it with bondo sand it down and primered it for now. if you use bondo, make sure you put a peice of metal mesh under it. it is usually provided with the bondo kit. i removed my taill lights to get undernesth some of those holes. good luck.
