ok i am buying a TSi very soon and i wanted to know what do i look for to tell if the turbo is not in good condition?

just give me some pointers......

You can take off the intake piping connecting to the turbo itself and check for shaft play. But if you can't do that, I would say if you don't get pushed back into your seat, it's not in perfect condition I'm not sure about the t-25, but my 14b pulls pretty hard, and I'm sure you'll feel it. I test drove about 6-7 1g's before I found my current one, and none of them even came close to pulling as hard as mine does now. I would check for shaft play, it's not very difficult to do.. just my .02 cents.

Look for a stock plastic BOV that's not been disturbed. If they've not replaced that, it's probably not really been driven.
