I don't feel like spending $50+ on just a shift light, and i know you can build your own shift light just using resistors as the "pill". has anyone done it or have information or it? i already have a bright light, just need the resistor to flip a relay to trigger the light. thanks

No, well yea you can build one, I've done it but basically you have to build a frequency counter with an ls2914(?) IC chip and another IC that I cant think of plus about 8+ resisters and 3-4 capacitors. If I ever wanted another shift light I would just buy one.

that sounds like a pain in the ass. i guess i'll just break down and buy one. what wire do we tap into for the shift light? (2g turbo)
