i just got home from watching rob zombie's house of 1000 corpses. i dont know if anyone else has seen it or heard about it, but there was over 2 years of hype about this movie and i understand he had alot of trouble getting an R rating on it due to the violence and shit. ive always been a huge rob zombie fan, and also a huge fan of the old school "slasher" movies, and i can honestly say that he done a great job on making the movie seem like one of the older horror ficks. naturally the story line was pretty stupid, but if you like alot of blood, guts, mutalation, nudity, and just weird shit going on in a movie this is the one for you. i give it

the movie has been cut and cut and toned down really bad for him to get it in the theater. i would almost bet that when the dvd comes out, there will be a special addition or a directors cut or something of it and it will be the entire movie or at least have the deleated sceans in it.

The funniest parts in the movie was...

RUN BUNNIE RUN! (when the girl is running from the graveyard in the bunny suit)...

Other funny part is when that hot ass blond bi*** was like... HEHEHHEHEHH! (her laugh pissed off my ex. i loved her laugh tho).

When the guy got out to open the gate and the other guy hit him with a sledgehammer that was hilarious also. Then the other guy jumps out to try and help him... what an idiot.

The ending of the movie brings you to think there is going to be a part two tho!

definatly. if this movie does as well as i hope it will, im sure mr zombie will go to work on another one. i take my hat off to rob zombie. the man is an expert in horror movies, and 1000 corpses more than shows it.

The movie was really weird. I saw it the night it came out. Me and my friend went to 3 movie theathers trying to find the movie till we found one playing it. The funniest part was when the gas station was being robed he was like " ill give you the the count of 3" he was like one, and the clown was like f you dady, the robber said two, the clown was like F your mom, the rober said 3 he was like F your grandma. It was hecka funny.

i guess it all depends on what a person likes in a movie. im a weird mother f*cker who likes weird shit, so i thought the movie was fantastic. you can watch movies like "i know what you did last summer" and "final destination" and call them horror movies if you want to, but i'll take blood, guts, and brains being cut out of peoples heads over some queer ass teen thriller any day. i was just saying about 6 months ago about "what happened to the real horror movies like the texas chainsaw massacre and night of the living dead". this movie was the answer.

halloween was one of my favs. ive got around 60 dvd's of nothing but old school horror movies. all the friday the 13th, hellhounds, carnivor, hellraiser, elm street, night of the living dead, black lagoon, american werewolf, a shitload of steven kings stuff including IT and pet cemetary, and alot of the old 70's movies from england and norway.
