Has anyone heard of hoodspacers? I saw them on ebay and it seems like it just raises the back of the hood and inch or two. Unfortunately, the hood probably won't be flush with the fenders but it says the engine should be much much cooler. If someone has this, how do you like it? Could we make the hoodspacers ourself? Thanks for the info..

Omg, you are a big retard. Just think about it, all it is doing is raising the back of the hood, that aint gonna do shit. It wont even make air come out of it really, because your stock hood has no intake holes.

A car in Super Street or Modified mag, I cant remember which one has that done to it. It is an old school RX-7 turbo. It does help with cooling the car but I dont think it looks too good.

It is like a poor mans cowl :) You could easily do that with a few washers and bolts from the hardware store.

I am normally a fool for that kind of stuff. I bought some and I love the look. I put red lights in there so when you drive at night it gives it a unique look. It is very simple. Take a screw out of the hood. Then go to the store and buy one the same size but about an inch longer. then buy rubbed spacers to push it up. As for the added coolness I really don't know. You have to move the water seal that is between your windshield bottom cover and your hood. If you place your hand over the crack when the car is idoling you can feel air blowing through there. As for the colder intake air. Well I have a Cold air intake so I don't have to worry about that. I hope I have helped you.

Yep I did that. I also cut out the "nostrils" on my front bumper to allow air to actually circulate through and cool things down while I drive. Works great.
