cool, when you do and if it convinces me,I just might buy another 2gnt.Damm i miss my dizzm.we f*&^%ed up this thread, I think k&N filter is better than the hks,but not the one that goes in the filter box,but the FIPK kit they have.the reason being is that the hks is made from a sponge like material and fall appart with time and those little grains of sponge go into your engine.

what happened to your dsm?

i think im thinking of a different hks filter... the one im thinking of is red cotton just like the K&N but instead of a flat top it has a top that vortexes into the center like a worm hole...?

even if it comes with the same rods, the engine is only as strong as its weekest link, and the nt pistons still have a higher sitting compression ring landing and are easy to crack. thats why 1gnt guys that go turbo can still only run 9 psi max. there arent going to be many NT upgrades for a 4g63 NT. why would a company invest in making NT products when they can make turbo products since the turbo car is more popular to modify. thats why 1gNT guys have even less parts then we do. one advantage is it is easier to swap, and its easier to make it a turbo. but you can make a 420a turbo for a similar price. we've got a better flowing head and a stronger transmission. and the 420a is more reliable then the 4g63, not to mention coughcrankwalkcough. id take a 420a over a 4g63 nt any day. :thumb:

I've seen plenty of n/t-> t running more than 9psi. Plus there have been many people running insane amounts of nitrous on them with only fuel upgrades. I said there are more products for them, I didn't say that it was only n/t parts. Its a shitload cheaper to turbo a 4g63 than a 420a. The 2gnt differentials are pieces of shit and the internals aren't much better. A FWD 4g63 tranny is about on par with it. Crankwalk is overrated, more 420a's have been reported to have spun bearings than turbo's have to crankwalk.

Either way, if you want a FWD, a DSM isn't the way to go.

I had to sell it to move cross country.I'm in sacramento noe,but i don't have a dizzem so i haven't updated my profile. I should get 1 within next year.turbo of course.I only have a grand saved up so i'm a long way,but i made up my mind.this is the car i want.I don't care if its a first gen, although i would prefer a second gen.not couse of looks it's that i like the suspension setup on the 2 g better.you have no idea how much i misss my car with these cali twistys around.I will probably end p with a 1g because their cheaper.anyways thats my story.sorry for hijacking your thread homie.
