Higher springrates...

I just wanted to know if anyone besides H&R makes springs with a higher rate than 20-30% above stock? The H&R race springs look like a nice spring but I don't want a 2.0" drop again I've been there done that and I do not want it again. I was looking at the Pro-kits but I don't know if they are stiff enough for what I want. I have illuminas on the car as of now with the stock springs and I feel that the shocks are being wasted since the springs are goo. So if anyone could let me know if there are any stiffer springs out there that won't drop the car more than like 1.6-1.7 that would be great. TIA.

eibach. check their website for spring rates. i run 550lbs front and 450lbs rear spring rates. nice and stiff.

Are you talking about Eibachs or Ground Controls? Also would that be a good spring rate for a FWD with illuminas or too much?

GC uses Eibach springs. but you can buy the springs seperate from Eibach. they have them in different sizes so all you need to do is figure out how much you want to drop and select the spring rate you want.

is this strictly a street car? mine are stiff for SCCA and road race purposes, so you may not want to go that stiff for a street car. i believe the prokit is somewhere around 300lbs. dont quote me.

Try 550lbs in front and 375lbs in back, hits corners well.
