high mileage turbo

My brother is looking at a 90 gs-t that has 130,000 on it. Everything is completely stock and i was wondering if the turbo would have to be rebuilt since the high miles. I was also wondering really how long these cars last without a rebuild.

I HAVE A 1990 GSX WITH 125 THOU ON THE ODO AND IT RUNS FINE JUST NEED TO CHECK THE USUALL STUFF THAT GOES OUT BUT IF THE TURBO DOESNT SMOKE ITS OK

i agree with waltman. I would think as long as the usual stuff checked out it would be fine.
