High mileage chasis?

If someone were to buy a 2g (97 gsx) eclipse with high mileage (115,000) and rebuild the engine/tranny/new springs/shocks is there any problems that can occur with the chassis if it has never been in a wreck or anything?

Ball joints, shocks, and struts are examples of possible problems you could in counter.

what about the uniframe itself? What happens with age?

I had my cv axles in the front replaced, struts replaced...other than that there really hasn't been many suspension problems.

oh yeah, 95 TSi AWD, 108K miles.

You should be fine at that mileage, so long at there's limited rust. Apparently, DSMs are fairly good in the rust department. The unibody should still be plenty sound.
