Help-Tips for buying a 97 GST, what to look for

Hey I'm looking into a 1997 Black GST with 70k miles on it and was wondering, what should I be looking for in the car? Like what problems to look out for and how to detect them before I buy it. Anything tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Be sure to look under at suspension components and make sure everything looks sound. Check for oil leaks in engine bay. I really dont know what else to say.

I do. Use the search button. Look for play in the shaft in the turbo. Compression check, leakdown test? Make sure it shifts fine. That you are getting boost. You are supposed to be watching for crankwalk. You could take it to a garage and have them check the endplay in the crank.
